Sam is your always-on scheduling assistant built into Skillit to take the back-and-forth out of hiring so you can connect with the right craft workers, fast.

Here's how it works:

📅 Step 1: Tap “Schedule a Call”

From any worker’s profile, simply tap the "Schedule a Call" button. This tells Sam to take over the coordination process on your behalf.

đŸ€– Step 2: Sam reaches out automatically

Sam will automatically contact the worker, share details about your opportunity, and begin scheduling a time that works for both of you.

If you’ve connected your Outlook calendar, Sam will:

  • Schedule the interview directly into your calendar

  • Keep it up-to-date if anything changes

  • Ensure you have a single source of truth

🔁 Step 3: Sam handles rescheduling

If you or the worker can’t make it, no problem.

Sam automatically reschedules the interview, no need for manual follow-ups. Once a new time is set, your calendar is updated.

⏰ Step 4: Smart reminders

Sam sends text reminders to both you and the worker:

  • 1 hour before

  • 10 minutes before

This dramatically improves attendance rates by keeping everyone on the same page.

📞 Step 5: Sam connects the call

At the scheduled time:

  • Sam calls both parties separately

  • Once both answer, simply tap any button for Sam to bridge the call

  • Phone numbers stay masked to protect privacy for both sides. Recruiters avoid spam follow-ups. Workers avoid unwanted outreach.
