Note: Please make sure your phone number and email address are always up to date. Construction companies and the Skillit team may contact you by phone, text, or email about job opportunities, and you don’t want to miss an opportunity because your contact information is outdated.
Step 2: You either can upload your resume in files pdf, .csv or .docx or you can add your information manually.
If you fill out manually, fill out the fields accordingly.
Note: The more detail you provide about your projects, responsibilities, and experience, the stronger your overall profile will be. Include relevant keywords such as data centers, stadiums, specific equipment, tools, and types of work to help construction companies better understand your experience and find you for the right opportunities.
Step 3: Let us know where you’re currently located and how far you’re willing to travel for work. This helps us connect you with opportunities that fit your location and travel preferences.
Step 4: Break down how many years of experience you have in specific skills, your pay requirements, languages you speak and any certifications/union memberships
Step 5: Willing to relocate? Being open to relocation and traveling for work can significantly expand your opportunities. Many of the top ENR 400 construction companies are currently hiring workers who are willing to travel for projects across the U.S. These roles often include per diem, along with other competitive benefits.
Lastly, when we identify jobs that may be a strong match for your experience, we’ll show you the skills and qualifications those companies are looking for so you can add them to your profile and improve your match.
You’ll see the actual roles you are a fit for. Click into them to express interest (apply)
Note: This alerts the company you are interested in the role! Expectation is if they think you are a fit, they will contact you via email, text or call.
