Hey there! We're thrilled that you’ve decided to join the Skillit Community. Our core values of Respect, Ambition and Precision (RAP) are the foundation of how we expect everyone to participate and treat one another. We're committed to maintaining a positive and inclusive space for everyone, and that starts with RAP.

What we expect from ourselves and each other:

Respect Others

  • Treat everyone with kindness and consideration.

  • Be mindful of your words and actions, and respect diverse opinions.

Be Ambitious

  • Share your ideas and goals with enthusiasm.

  • Encourage others by sharing tips on positioning yourself for your next employment opportunity; share stories about previous job opportunities you've enjoyed and why they were meaningful. Let's inspire each other with practical advice and real-life experiences to help everyone reach their career goals!

Be Precise

  • Take our assessments to showcase your skill set accurately.

  • Complete your profile thoroughly and as accurately as possible to provide employers with a comprehensive view of your experiences.

  • Be precise in presenting yourself; you'll increase your chances of finding the right opportunities!

Behavior that violates our Community Guidelines, is inconsistent with our values or disrupts our community will be reviewed and could result in removal. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in our sole discretion. See our Terms for more.

Together we can build a community that elevates skilled trades, values our work and each other’s contributions, and helps everyone find their own path to better careers and connections.
