1. Creating and Editing a Worker Search

The filter button at the top of the worker search results page will open a window with a variety of filtering options.

2. Trades

Select as many or as few Trades as apply to the particular role you are trying to fill.

3. Experience (Skills)

By default, all Skills associated with your selected Trades will be displayed. You can click the orangeto remove any that aren't relevant to you, and you can use the sliders to specify how much experience in each Skill you require.

Here, we see an example of a search for workers with at least 6 years of Commercial Construction, 15 years of General Electrical Work, 5 years of Electrician Foreman experience, 10 years of Industrial Construction and at least 1 year of Photovoltaic System Installation and Maintenance:

4. Travel

Next, you can specify how far workers can be from your project, or, if you don't have a preference, you can skip this filter entirely. You can also check the box to include workers who are farther away but have indicated that they are willing to relocate.

Here, we see an example of a search for workers within 56 miles of the jobsite, but we've also opted to include workers willing to relocate to within that area.

5. Pay

Next, the Pay slider enables you to filter your results by Desired Pay. In this example, we are eliminating anyone who wants to make more than $60 / hour.

6. Certifications

This is another optional filter. You can use it to narrow your search to workers who have stated they possess one or more of the following certifications.

In this example, we've opted to see only those workers who are Authorized to work in the U.S., are State Licensed Electricians and have their OSHA 30 qualification.

7. Saving and Customizing Your Searches

To create and save a new craft worker search, simply select a trade using the search bar and apply your search parameters. Once you're happy with your search, click 'Save this Search'.

You'll have the opportunity to customize each search by assigning it a name and inviting other team members to collaborate with you.

As you interact with candidates - by contacting them, indicating interest, or hiding them - they'll be automatically sorted into categories in the left-hand panel.

💡Pro Tip: Craft workers you've categorized will be removed from your main dashboard, keeping your search results current and focused on new candidates.

Your search dashboard is designed to improve organization for you and your team. Rather than immediately presenting your craft worker search, your customized dashboard offers a structured overview of all your craft worker searches.

💡Pro Tip: Your search parameters are now displayed at the top for quick editing.

8. Posting Your Jobs

As an employer, you can post jobs directly on our platform, and qualified craft workers who match your criteria can express interest with just a click. (Plus, you still have the power to actively search for candidates whenever you need to.)

This two-way search power means you can:

  • Attract interested, pre-vetted craft worker candidates via your job posts

  • Proactively search for the perfect fit when you need it

You can post your open jobs under 'Candidates' > 'Applied Workers'

💡Pro Tip: Make sure your company logo and info are updated in your settings. Craft workers will see your company branding when indicating their interest.

To promote your job, first write a quick job summary, and we’ll reach out to workers who match your criteria.

Next, view your applicants. When workers begin to express interest in your promoted jobs, they’ll show up in your Candidates tab under ‘Applied Workers.’

Finally, to follow up with craft worker candidates, use the green 'contact' button.
