1. One Subscription. Unlimited Access.

Skillit’s platform makes it easy to find and connect with the exact craft workers you need. With a Skillit subscription, you get unlimited access to the nation's largest network of skilled construction workers. Message as many workers as you need - no strings attached.

2. How to Contact Workers

You will be able to message workers either from search results, or from the worker profile. In either case, it's this icon you want:

3. Sending Messages

Click the icon from worker search results or from the worker profile. In either case, you'll get the message window, which looks like this:

If you'd like to use one of your Message Templates, click the envelope icon at the botton left of the window.

The bell icon will toggle Skillit's automated reminder cadences on or off. These are optimized to remind workers to read your message and respond so your construction staffing team can spend less time chasing candidates and more time conducting interviews.

After you've sent workers messages, you can always access these conversations by clicking the envelope icon at the top right of your screen .

The will open your Inbox, which has a list of worker conversations down the left hand side. Select an individual conversation to open it.

4. Creating and Editing Message Templates

Skillit enables you to create templates for commonly used messages, for example, your initial outreach email for a particular role. We offer a few examples by default, and you can create more in your Settings.

Click your name icon at the top right of your screen, and then Settings to access the Settings area. In the left hand menu you'll see Message Templates - click it to access the template editor.

First, give your template a name that will make it easy to identify in the future. Next, craft the body of your message, using our handy merge fields where useful. These will dynamically insert things like your name or the worker's name every time you use the template with different candidates.

If you check the box "Send followup reminders if workers do not reply", Skillit will send a cadence of automated reminders to the workers reminding that about your message and encouraging them to respond. This service is included in all pricing plans.
